Brookdale Salina Kirwin (formerly Sterling House of Salina), located in the heart of Kansas at the crossroads of Interstates 70 and 135, is a cozy and intimate community providing Personalized Assisted Living options for seniors. We put an emphasis on providing a wonderful lifestyle that lets our residents live as independently as possible and allows them to enjoy life on their own terms. Our intimate, single-story building was designed to provide comfort, beauty and privacy to the residents that call Brookdale Salina Kirwin their home. We offer a choice of floor plans for our furnished private or companion suites - residents just need to bring their personal belongings. Living suites offer easy access for those with limited mobility and include wall-to-wall carpeting, private baths with step-in shower, handy kitchenette and basic cable.

We offer many comfortable areas designed for socializing, dining, entertaining and getting together with friends. Residents relax in the bright, cheery sunroom, enjoy a morning paper in the library or join in trivia night in our activity room.

Available Services

We encourage and honor independence, and the personalized plans we create for each resident allow us to provide as much or as little help as desired. Highly trained, dedicated staff is available for assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming or dining assistance.

Nursing staff is on call around-the-clock, and special services include medication support and ambulatory assistance. Our dining program includes a daily selection of nutritious, fresh and flavorful dishes, including low-sodium, heart-healthy cooking, served tableside in our elegant dining room.
