My mom will be moving into Benchmark Senior Living at Chelmsford Crossings. Everybody was nice, it was very clean, and they have a lot to offer my mother. The apartment was beautiful, it was immaculate, and it had everything that she needed to be comfortable. When I visited the facility, they had an orchestra in the group room, and they were playing. The guests were listening to the songs. The dining area was very nice. They have a beauty shop, and on each floor, they have a family kitchen where I could go in and cook dinner for my mom if I wanted.

My stepmom is now at Summer Place. It is great and it is beautiful. The people couldn't be nicer, more helpful, or more supportive. I'm very pleased with it. The dining area is beautiful. There is a big fireplace and a baby grand piano up on a stage. They use linens during dinner, and you get three choices for breakfast and three for lunch. They take your order and they serve you just like in a restaurant. There is a list of activities that changes every week. They have someone come to play the guitar, they have music and old songs, they have a rec room where they do crafts, they have a card game room, a pool table, they go on outings, and they have a hairdresser on staff. My stepmom has her own apartment with a small kitchenette if she wants to make something herself. I live a distance away so when I call up there the people are really supportive. When I ask a question or when I have a request, they get on it right away. My experience has been great. They have somebody that comes and cleans my stepmom's apartment every week, dust the floors, wash everything, and change the linens. The place is nice, clean, and very well kept. I have peace of mind with her there. I know she is safe and she is cared for. I'm OK with the cost.

I had a good visit to Summer Place, it was very nice, and very helpful. The staff member who showed me around was terrific. They invited me to lunch and it was good. It was very clean, but there were not a lot amenities.

Summer Place is awesome, and I can't wait to move in. It's a bunch of people my own age. They're very active, and they drink wine at dinner like I do. I was impressed. I have five windows in the living room. My apartment has a backdoor with a patio that goes all around the apartment, and with hooks for bird feeders, and various little sitting spots that overlook the woods. The staff is fabulous, very friendly, and accommodating. I tried the food, and it's like a restaurant. You can choose anything you want from the menu that day. Everything is included in the fee except for my cell phone.

Summer Place was very nice and located in a convenient place. The rooms were really nice, too. They had a bus that would take you to different places if you can't drive. They had somebody that plays the piano once a week. The staff was really nice, too.

I visited Summer Place. They showed me an apartment that was at the end of the corridor. It had a huge octagonal living area and a wrap-around porch. You could place 30 lounge chairs there. It was more a meeting room than a home. It was not what I was interested in, and I couldn't imagine myself living there. They offer exercise classes, art classes, games, and all sorts of things. It was too expensive, and like living in a first-class hotel.

I saw one or two rooms in Chelmsford that were small but very clean. The living room is nice and big, plus there's a library, sitting room, a computer room, and a porch you can go out on and sit. They had a kitchen where you can cook, a breakfast room, and laundry facilities. The menu looks very good, and a friend living there said the food is really good. The staff is very friendly, upbeat, and very caring. They had bingo, bridge, and physical activities.
