My dad is living here and it's good. His room is adequate and it is handicap-accessible with grab bars in the shower and lots of windows, which is nice. The staff is good. They have programs that my dad can go to.

It was very nice, and the residents seemed energetic. The rooms were very nice. It seemed very clean, new, modern, and open.

A Visitor

I really enjoyed them. The environment seemed really nice. The staff was engaged with games and activities with people. There were a lot of nice fireplaces in the sitting rooms, and there were a lot of residents there engaging in activities, social events, and things like that. They have an actual chef on-staff, which was nice. I had a very good experience with them.

I visited Aurora Pond. I’m a 59-1/2-year-old and it was very sad and very depressing. They weren’t my age, so it was not the place for me. The staff member I talked to was OK. She was the sales person and kept making the comment that she was going to wheel me in. The food was fair. They had a piece of chicken that had been boiled for a long time and had about one teaspoon full of spaghetti sauce with an awful lot of garlic in it. Then they had some noodles with just a tiny bit of sauce on them. I went to the cottages. They were very nice, clean, and had washers and dryers. They had pretty much everything that I needed and was looking for, but they were extremely expensive.
