The tour at St. Catherine Retirement Community was really nice, the residents were friendly, and the staff was friendly. The food was good, and basically it seemed like a nice place to live. I got a 2-bedroom deluxe, and it had a huge washroom right within the apartment. They have an exercise room with equipment, they have classes, a podiatrist comes out, and all kinds of board games and cards. The meal that I had was excellent, and the food was good. The layout is great and I really liked that it’s only one story. I will move there.

TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT Team!!! These people are rude and are not good with assisting tenants they have no customer service what so ever if I could go lower I would !! Don\'t waste your time!!

I was very impressed with The Villa at Riverwood, including the security. Everything about the place is impressive. My only concern is that they do have elevators, but they also have steps, and for someone is not in a position to stay in a place with steps, that would be a risk. I like the location, everyone was friendly and nice, and the amenities offered were all very good. I love the dining options and the dining itself. The individual apartments are perfect for a senior living alone, and it still provides a sense of independence. They have activities setup daily that the residents can take part in, and they have a nice little lounge area that they can sit in so they don't have to be in their apartments all day. They also take the residents to the doctor if needed, or to the stores and banks, and that's very good. The staff members were all very nice and friendly.

The Villa at Riverwood was clean and nice. The small apartments have a kitchenette, stove, refrigerator, sink, bathroom, and closet space. The staff was good and really nice. They had an elevator to go upstairs.

I love The Villa at Riverwood. It is very nice. The director that showed me around was very nice. He showed me the dining room and their menu. The menu was nice. He showed me three different types of rooms, which were set up nice too. They have a beauty shop onsite, they have a room for the residents to play games, they have another room if you want to read different books and different magazines, and they do have games, but they're scheduled at different times. They have many activities.

My father is at The Villa at Riverwood. It's very clean. The people are very friendly, very well managed, very warm, and receptive. The facility is clean, and the dining area is very nice. They have a lot of amenities like the washing area and washing machines and dryers on each floor. The only thing you have to provide is your detergent and fabric softener. They make sure that he comes to dinner and that he's OK. If you also needed some more detailed nursing assistance, they provide services like putting their medications together. So far, he likes it. Everyone in my family seems to think it's a very nice facility. He's in a studio apartment but they also offer one- and two-bedroom apartments. It's very well lit, and they have free Wi-Fi. They have an area where they can do Wii bowling, have access to computers, play on a pool table, and an exercise room. It's really good for the amount of money you pay. He gets three meals a day. He just has to pay $6 for it to be delivered to his room. He can also call and pick it up. They have two or three entrees and if there's something in the menu that you don't want, they have hamburgers and other foods available. They accommodate you if you need something repaired or if you need assistance with something, but there's a charge for it. They have a bus to the grocery stores and to other activities. Everybody's very friendly and very accommodating. They know my face and seem to know all the residents. They're very welcoming. The food is very good for elderly people. We could also have dinner with them, but we'd have to pay for it. It's pretty tasty. He doesn't really complain. They're doing lots of improvements. They have a new manager. It's clean, and I haven't smelled any bad odors or seen any trash around. It's very well kept and maintained. They have lots of activities. They go to the malls and to the grocery store, have transportation to church and movies, and have Christmas caroling right now and plays. He got in at a special price, so I'm very happy about that. It's within his budget, and they were very accommodating.

I visited The Villa at Riverwood, and the setting was beautiful there. The outdoor areas were wonderful, they had a patio, and a walkway around the whole place. There were some landscapes, a garden, and a pool. The rooms were good, but not as nice as the other places. The people were nice, and the staff was very good. The food was not very good, and I was not impressed with it.
