Autumn View Gardens is great, everybody there is really nice and they do a good job. It's a really nice community and very pleasant out of everything I have looked at that my brother could afford to qualify. It's wonderful, it's really good. They have bingo, baseball game nights and all kinds of different things going on. My brother is in a 2-bedroom suite, he shares a bathroom and a huge walk-in closet with another gentleman. So it's perfect for his situation. Their dining area is beautiful, it's a 2-storey windowed dining room. They also have a garden and the residents can work in it. The rooms all have their own patio or deck they can go out on, so that's really nice. There are also 2 areas in front of the building with chairs that people could sit on outside and relax, it's really nice.

My mom moved into Autumn View Assisted Living and our experience so far has been good. What stands out the most is the whole environment there with the residents, the staff, and how friendly they are. They seemed genuinely concerned, and my mom is happier because she has a little more private space there than where she was at before. They have physical therapy, they have a big room where they do a lot of activities, and they have church and things like that. They mainly help her with dressing and going to the bathroom.

We went to Autumn View Gardens Assisted Living. It was modern, it had the assistance I was looking for, and the amenities were up to standard. It was very nice, the landscaping, the building location, the cleanliness, the room size, the staff, and support. I liked it. They also had a community area.

My dad likes Autumn View Gardens. It's an older facility, but it's clean. I like the people I met. I chose it because it was rated 4.5. I liked their friendliness and everything else. His room is fine for a single person. He's satisfied. They have a lot of different activities on the board. He is doing rehab there. They take people out to doctors' appointments and have arts and crafts and other things. The community fee is kind of high, but overall it is OK.

What my mother-in-law could afford for assisted living at Autumn View Gardens was basically a dorm-like situation with three bedrooms where they all share one bathroom. It had one small living area with a refrigerator. She would not have liked that, and she couldn't afford to do a private assisted living there. It was a very nice place, and they're going to be doing a complete renovation. It's nice that they have a nurse on-staff at all times who distributes the medicine. I liked the person who showed me around. The common area of the dorm room itself was not very appealing. It had a couple of chairs and a refrigerator, and it wasn't very welcoming.
