I visited Solstice Senior Living at Lee's Summit. When I pulled into the parking lot there's adequate space to park. The doorways and the entrances were nice and big, and easy to get into. I was met at the front lobby by the receptionist, and she got a hold of my contact person. The place itself was really nice and clean. I was shown different rooms like the studios, the 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom. She explained to me that new carpet is put in every time for a new tenant. The dining area was real nice, and she showed me the facilities. They have a laundry, medical, and she went through the different programs that they had and explained about the dining and all phases of the complex. So she was really pleasant and easy to talk to. They had exercise classes, card playing, and they had us intermingling with the residents. It was a little bit early for lunch when I was there, but they still invited me to stick around for lunch.

My visit to Solstice Senior Living was very nice. We saw a nice two-bedroom, two-bath. They had a pool table and exercise machines. They offered three meals a day, housekeeping biweekly, and had buses available.

I think the it is a great place. I'm moving there when I get old. The room is very neat, clean, and set up well. My mom needs a little walking space. The food is excellent, and the staff is wonderful. They have card games, bingo, and people come in and sing. They take them to Walmart on Monday and watch games together.

We visited. They had a really nice library with a really good supply of different types of books that interest different people. We also saw the dining room, the activities room, and the rooms themselves, which was all very nice. The staff was very kind and very helpful. They told us to come back and try the food, but my mom was not really interested. Everybody was super nice, informative, and helpful. They were very nice to my mom and introduced her to other residents.

I liked the Carlyle. We went to see several rooms, and the manager said that they wanted us to partake in a whole day’s activity, including the food. The building seemed to be warmer than the first place I went to. It’s a nice and new, three-story building and has elevators. The building was warm, and you have a good feeling about it. They had a café that was open all the time and a main dining room as well. They mainly are for independent living, and if you want assisted living, then you have to contract that outside of the area to come in and take care of you in the room. The rooms were fully carpeted and all had a balcony off of the bedroom or off the back of the main room. The best thing was the interior painting and decorations.

Solstice Senior Living at Lee's Summit looks like such a beautiful place. It was just gorgeous inside. Everybody looked so happy, and the help was so nice. We just loved it and everything was just exactly what we wanted for my mother-in-law, so we got her an apartment.

I loved Solstice Senior Living at Lee's Summit. It was nice, and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were kind of small. The dining area was nice and pleasant looking. We enjoyed it very much. They had card rooms, areas for walking outside, and a library.

It really had good offers as far as getting my mom in. It has good independent living, but has options for three meals a day and very nice activities like Bingo, card games, puzzles, exercise every day, Bible studies, and Church organizations that come to them. Mom has a very nice balcony, and everyone has been really good to her.

The staff I interacted with at Solstice was very accommodating and friendly. The have studios, and 1- and 2-bedroom accommodations, which were adequate. The meal situation would not really fit my needs. They require the residents to be there at specific times for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You can't just go whenever you want.
