We would have chosen The Auberge at Missoula Valley if my parents decide to go to assisted living. The place was clean and friendly, and the guy who did the tour was really nice. They would have met my parents' needs in terms of medicine dispensing and things of that nature. We were told while we were there that some other company had bought them out. While we toured the community, we saw one of the one-bedrooms. We saw people coming down to dinner although we didn't eat there. They had a great activities director. We met her and we were told that they had activities like quilting, bingo, they have a book club. They also had a TV camera that they use for watching Ospreys, so people can go and see that. I think that was so cool. They also have a van to take the residents out to doctor's appointments or shopping. They have a lot of good things that people could get involved in if they choose to do activities. There's a garden out back that people could help with as well. I found the place to be very clean, and the staff we met was very nice and informative.

It is a very nice-looking facility that doesn't look too much like a nursing home. It's a muddy, brick color. The parking and lawns around it are nice. Inside, when you walk in, there's an open meeting area that's carpeted. Off to the right is a large gathering and sitting room, and on the left are offices of the director of nursing and the lady who showed us around. There's a desk for a person who's there most of the time to answer questions. We were shown one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. I only spoke with Hope, who was excellent.
