Nursing Homes Community in Edison, New Jersey

Heritage of Clara Barton is very large and very nice; however, it is very spread out. My only negative is that it is just so big, it is a lot of walking for people who are elderly. For younger and more active seniors, it is very good. It is in a nice environment where you can walk in the town and they have some restaurants that you can walk to. It is really fine, but it is an older facility than what I was looking for and a little more spread out. The rooms were big, bright and very nice.

My mother-in-law has moved into Heritage of Clara Barton. I like the layout, and the appearance is really very nice. She has a lovely little one-bedroom. The rooms are not overly large, but I didn't expect them to be given what the place is. The staff certainly has been very friendly, very nice, and very helpful. They seem to have all kinds of options for my mother-in-law if she wants to avail herself of them. She can certainly go out on little independent trips, and she can take car rides on her own. There are lots of options for this location.

The main thing I remember about Brighton Gardens of Edison was that the parking was horrendous. We had to park across the street in another parking lot. That was enough for me not to want to go in. Everything about the community was fair and standard. The young lady who assisted us was very nice and informative. The rooms were fine. I liked the shelving in their bathroom because it made it look homier.
