I’m sitting very comfortable at home. This is all thanks to Regency Heritage in Somerset, New Jersey. Everyone - nurse, aides - helpers, recreation and last but definitely not least, all the therapists. If it weren’t for them, I wouldn’t be writing this review. I can’t thank them enough.

My mother was a patient at Regency Jewish Heritage Post-Acute Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. I am very grateful to the staff for helping and making my. Other feel very comfortable during her stay. The staff stayed on top of my mother’s care, and made her feel important. I know the importance of patient care and the staff exceeded, especially the CNAs, who took extra care of my mother and made sure she felt was not a problem to take car of. Maribel, in patient relations was very professional and very caring. Regency Heritage is a place of great value and of great expectations. They have a clean, family friendly atmosphere and I would recommend anyone to go there if they were a patient.

The staff provided the best care for my mom and for the other patient in the Sub Acute Department of Regency Heritage Nursing in Somerset. The nurses, aides, doctors, and personnel perform their job excellently, providing maximum medical care and comfort for their patients. They are really the best of the best.

Spring Hills Somerset was rundown looking. It was clean, but it looked like it needed sprucing up. There was molding that was missing or falling off, and tables were discolored and scratched. It's a very large facility and the woman who did the tour didn't seem to know anybody and was very surprised that anyone even knew her name or who she was. I found that to be a bit alarming. We went to visit some of the rooms and there was a woman screaming for help across the way. That alarmed me. It made me feel like they were out of touch with the residents because if they know that someone may have memory issues, that person should be getting extra attention. If we hadn't come by, I don't know how long she would've been in there yelling for help. The bathrooms in the rooms looked old, and the tile needed replacing. It's not up-to-date. The amenities were fairly standard from what I've read about and seen at some other places, but they had a lot of offerings. They put a lot of money into their brochure and their presentation, which was really outstanding, but the place itself did not hold up. I was highly disappointed. There was nothing about it that I liked. I had lunch in this private room with the sales director, and she didn't even have a glass of water for me. She had me select from the menu and they continued to forget things to bring in to me. I didn't even get everything that was supposed to come with the order.

My father-in-law was in Regency Jewish Heritage Nursing and Post-acute Rehabilitation Center. He was only there for two days, and it was a nightmare. He had a life vest on, and they had it on backwards the first night. If he needed it, he would have died because of heart failure. They really didn’t pay attention to their patients at all and were a disappointment. The food and cleanliness were not that great.
