My mother has been at this facility for a couple months now, and I can honestly say it was the best decision ever. From the 1st day of the tour, the administrator made me feel so welcomed. It felt at home, and to top it off my mom made friends during the tour. My mother ended up staying for lunch and didn’t want to leave. The room we have is spacious with its own bathroom, the staff has been so cooperative and communicating with me constantly since i have been away. I will definitely recommend this facility to anyone.

The staff is 10/10 amazing they make my mom feel right at home. One of my biggest fears was my mother acclimating to a new environment and she fit right in everyone including residents made her feel so at home and I couldn\'t be more grateful Thank you Rosewood truly a blessing.

I had my dad in this facility but removed him due multiple hospitalization from falls and urinary tract infections that became septic. The nursing staff is not qualified to oversee any type of medical care. No recreation to speak off. Housekeeping mops the floors with dirty water and then sits around watching tv all day..

My mom was here for 2 years before I had her moved to another facility. They promised the care would improve but it never did. Management is a revolving door as is the staff who are the aides. No activities for the residents except watching t.v. and 2 picnics a year outside for memorial day and 4th of July. The rooms need to be updated . Place always smells and is dirty.

This place really should be shut down by dept of health. The administrator is not capable of addressing any concerns presented to her. Activities are nonexisitent. Staff levels are surely below required levels by NYS. Cleaniness is something that needs to seriously be addressed ,you can see the urine and sh*t on the hallway floors. Finally pulled my loved ones out after 10 months becasue I feel her health and safety was at risk especially since some of the residents were found wandering around town and this was supposed to be a locked facility.

Seriously don\'t know how this place stays open. It is so poorly run. Should be shut down by the state. I truly believe the residents are risking their lives here. It must be very cheap to live here but not worth it on my opinion. I am a social worker and am assigned to a resident here and visit him twice a month and I literally dread coming here when I have to.

Rosewood on the Sound is pretty good. My mom moved into their assisted living. The staff is pretty good from what I've seen so far. The place is fairly typical of those kinds of places. Her room is a little small but it's not a big deal since I dont think they spend a ton of time there. They have a TV in the main room that people watch, and there's a secondary room where people watch TV also.

My aunt lives here because its the cheapest place her son could find..it always smells and not much in the way of activities but most residents are slumped over in their wheelchairs so they dont notice lack of stimulation anyway.

No owners, no administrators, med tech in charge and hha gives meds to your family. 1 Rn come 2x a week to cover their paper work, no safety. Shut this joke down.
