My brother seems to be adjusting fine at Independence Village Of Olde Raleigh. I don't have any complaints, and he doesn't seem to have any. He seems to be staying busy with the activities that they have. The physical appearance is nice. The carpet in the hallway needs to be replaced, but the lady said that they were working on that, and that that was next to be done. Other than that, that's the only thing that I saw that needed to be addressed. It's clean, too. They have exercise and physical therapy. They also have a bingo room, a room for other games, and a place for church services. I love every one of the staff there. They have been fabulous and most helpful. My brother loves the food, and he said it is the best food he has had. They have several activities that he is taking part in, and he loves the bingo, too.

The apartments and the dining area at Independence Village Of Olde Raleigh were very nice. Everyone was eating dinner at the time. They have a library, different trips, and a salon. It was a very nice facility.

My friend is happy at Independence Village Of Olde Raleigh. Her room is big and clean, and she participates in bingo. The food is fair. They have a beauty shop and a store.

Independence Village of Olde Raleigh is very nice and seems to be one of the better facilities. It's very clean and the residents appear happy and well taken care of. Overall, the food was pretty good. The dining room staff has been nice and helpful. My dad is not consistent in joining activities, but he had done Bingo and game night. His room is very nice, with hardwood floors. It's just one room with a full-sized bathroom and a kitchenette. He can have snacks there, so it's a really nice apartment.

My mom has moved into Independence Village Of Olde Raleigh this January. Everything is fine. It took her a little while to get accustomed to participating in the activities, but I think she is doing well right now. I like the fact that the doctors are making house calls along with physical and occupational therapy. My mom says the food is very good. If she is not able to make it down to the dining room in time, they will deliver it to her room, and she doesn't have to wait for it. They do arts and crafts, they do movie night, and they play bingo and cards. There is a store there in the community that they can get some necessary toiletries if they can't get out. They have services for church every week. They have book club too.

Independence Village Of Olde Raleigh is very nice, but it's personally not convenient for us. The tour was good. The day that we went there they were having dessert, so we had dessert and coffee which was very good. The staff was nice and friendly. The lady that works there, Donna, she was very nice and knowledgeable. The rooms were good, I like that. I also like the 2-bedroom unit that had an opening to the hallway from each bedroom, so that 2 women could live there but still have their privacy.

So far, Independence Village of Olde Raleigh has been good for my father. Everybody's been very friendly. It's clean, and the layout is fine. He's on the first floor so he has easy access to everything that he needs. There's a barber on site and he just went to them yesterday. He has had some issues with the food. The choices are very limited and not so geared toward a diabetic as he is. He and some other people at that location got ill from some turkey that might have been improperly cooked. The staff has been great and they offer good activities.

My in-laws are very happy in Independence Village of Olde Raleigh. They have a 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment with a den and living area, which is why we chose that community. They have activities like Bingo and things like that. It's the best bang for the buck in the area in terms of value. The dining room is beautiful and my in-laws are happy with the food.

Our visit with Independence Village of Olde Raleigh was good. Everything was great. The staff was good. Everybody was very friendly. It was clean. The room didn't have a kitchen, but had two bedrooms and two baths. It was a nice setup. It's just what my parents need.

My brother and sister-in-law moved into Independence Village of Olde Raleigh. Everything is fine except the food. That's what they're complaining about. The staff is great and very responsive. Every time I need to call about something, they've been there. The apartment layout is fine. The kitchenette could be a little bigger, but we knew that going in, so I'm not complaining about that at all.

I visited this facility

Independence Village Of Olde Raleigh have their air conditioning in the windows. I have seen a few of the rooms, and they were OK, but it's kind of depressing for me personally. They have bingo and things like that, but I'm not really at that stage yet. The staff was nice, but it would be nicer if they'd have a little cottage for the seniors or something.
