I love Creekside. My grandparents have lived here for two and they love it!

My father is in Creekside at Three Rivers. I was very impressed with it. The administrative staff was very forthcoming and told me exactly what they could and could not do. The facility itself and the environment are very pleasing. They have a lot of activities for the residents. It's very clean and very modern. The staff is wonderful. They have a small studio, a large studio, and one- and two-bedroom apartments. They also have memory care if needed. They have exercises, a pool table, card table, a complete library with internet, a phone that the residents can use, games, and other outside and inside activities. They have a bistro where they have coffee and water 24/7, fresh fruits, and finger food. They have a wonderful dining room and excellent meals. It's like a resort.

It had a very good layout because it's just a square, so people couldn't get lost easily in there. My uncle's room was a little older, but it's very clean. The staff was very patient and very good with him. The food was good. They had music come in, Sunday services, art projects, an art room, and Christmas programs.

My parents stayed at Creekside at Three Rivers. My mother was in memory care and my father was in assisted living. They were very good. Their meals and activities were good. They're very patient, too. Their room was a little bit older, but clean, and they had a good maintenance staff if you had any problems. They're very patient and inclusive, and they check on them when they had activities going on. We played Bingo, we went to music concerts, and they had trips to Wal-Mart, card games, art projects, and coloring. Their memory care was in a separate building, so that didn't work out very well in the winter.

My mother is here. The staff has been very helpful, and the facility has been good for her. She has a single room with a closet and a bathroom. They have different activities for the residents. They take them to appointments, and they have a courtyard for summertime where they can do gardening and things like that. The food I've seen was good. They've been updating the rooms as people were moving out.

We chose Creekside at Three Rivers for my mom because it was close to my house. So far it's going really good. When I went and visited it, I really liked it. Amy, the sales director, was amazing. She went above and beyond and really helped, because I had no idea what I was doing. Brent with the management team is really awesome. All of them are really nice. My mom is in memory care, but there's just not much to do, and I feel like they kind of get a little bored.

My mother-in-law is a resident of Willow Ridge Rehabilitation & Living Center. We chose it because they have a memory care center that suited our needs. It's right behind the hospital in Rutherfordton, and they have rooms for our father-in-law as well in assisted living. We're very pleased with everything. The staff is super friendly, they always talk to everybody who comes up and down the hall, and they're always cleaning. We have no complaints so far. They have no complaints about the food and they seem to eat better there. For the memory care, they do very well and they taking our mother-in-law to the other side for every activity. The have movies, crafts, they had things for Thanksgiving and Halloween, they do dinners for the families to come in and eat with them, and stuff like that. They also have the Elvis impersonators, little dances, and bingo; they keep them pretty busy. Preachers also come in. The place itself looks dirty on the outside but clean on the inside.

Creekside at Three Rivers was well kept and very well-maintained. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The person who accommodated us was absolutely wonderful. I was very excited for my dad to move in there, but he decided he was not ready to go into assisted living. If he had made that decision, we definitely would have gone into Creekside at Three Rivers. The dining area looked clean and well-maintained. It was like a restaurant and not a cafeteria. They have tons of activities for all different cases. It looked like a place that the residents could come together as a community. I was very impressed with that. They had two different games and activity rooms that were specific to different activities. They also had pool and poker tables.

Sunnington is a small community with only about 50 residents. The grounds are impressive, nice, and clean, and they have plenty of room around them. The rooms are small, but looks like brand new. They have activities every day and all sorts of things to keep the seniors busy, and there are buses to take the residents out on tours. We've seen other places and this one is perfect.
