Bellarose was very nice and very clean, but it was much larger than we wanted, and there were a lot of hallways. The staff was very knowledgeable and very nice. The dining area was quite a ways from the room Dad would've been in, and it was fancier, had tablecloths, and was more like fine dining than just a regular dining room. They had quite a few activities, and I saw some of the rooms.

Bellarose Senior Living is very new so the rooms are pretty nice. The dining area there looked restaurant quality, and they offer activities like bingo, movies, and outings. All of the places I visited kind of had the same activities. The layout of the place was very fancy, with chandeliers. It's bigger than the previous community I toured, so you would have to learn your way around. I like how they have a storm shelter downstairs, and it wasn't just a storm shelter. They also have a separate generator, a place for medical attention, there's a movie theater down there and a place to play games. So it seems like they're really well-prepared. You're not just sitting there, but you can also get entertained while you're stuck. So I thought that was nice. But to me, it was too expensive, but that's maybe because it's newer and had all these chandeliers and everything. I would rather pay less and not have the chandeliers, but the place itself is really nice.

Bellarose was lovely. It's a new facility, but they didn't have a ground floor apartment available. The person I met with was very nice. It was a lovely facility. It was just the availability of first floor apartments is hard to come by and it was a little bit more expensive than what I'm paying now. Meals were included, and there were activities. There was a pool and a gym. The apartment size was average and there wasn't a lot of storage, but they had their own washer and dryer in each unit, which was nice. Everything was clean and new. The staff was very nice and very helpful. They weren't letting anyone in the dining room at all. I had a brief tour of the vacant apartment they had, but they were still on pretty strict lockdown. They had a pool.
