I visited this facility

The person who gave us the tour was very good. The rooms were okay. The kitchens were small and they didn't have much cupboard space, but other than that, it was fine. They have a 1-bedroom and a couple of 2-bedrooms. They have libraries, play rooms, and walking space outside. Many of the people living there don't drive, so they have buses to take them around. They didn't have any activities going on at the time and the kitchen was closed, but they were delivering meals to the rooms. It looked like they were taking care of the people that were there.

I am/was a resident of this facility

The Springs at Clackamas Woods is fabulous and wonderful. The people are friendly and wonderful, and the food is terrific and very good. They have lots of activities. It's quite a bit of money, but it's worth it.

Royalton Place was very good. The room looked very clean and was partially painted. Everything was well kept. The kitchen and the dining area were extremely clean. They showed me the meals and the nursing staff. The person who assisted me was very informative. She gave me information. The place was very clean.

Royalton Place was nice, clean, and very airy with high ceilings, a nice dining area, and cozy common area. I didn't really care for their memory care because it smelled. The person who assisted me in my tour was Megan, who was wonderful. I spent well over an hour with her, and she was very compassionate about the decision I had to make regarding my aunt. It was a very positive experience. They didn't accept Medicaid, so we didn't pick that place.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Everything is going well here. She's not interested in activities, but I know they have a lot of them. It's a nice community and everybody cares about the people there. They watch out for each other and make sure that everybody is OK. All the food is included and they clean the rooms. You can schedule to have your loved one taken to doctors' appointments. They serve three meals and they have snacks there as well. It's nice, clean, and decorated appropriately for people her age. The staff is wonderful and they care about the people they work with. They do an excellent job.

Royalton Place was very good. They had excellent food, the place was clean, organized, and secure. They have a bus for the residents so they can go to churches or stores, and they take them out to the country on Saturday afternoons. They have a two-week minimum stay, while a lot of the places have a 30-day minimum stay. Someone was always there to meet my mom's needs and we really appreciated their caring attitude. They have someone at the door and the desk 24 hours so peopel who don't belong there can't come in. Every apartment has a window and private bath. The common areas were easy to access since the place only has two stories. You can take the elevators, and they also have stairs. They have activities and everything from Tai chi and yoga to arts classes. One nice thing about them was that the people who live there full-time were very open and welcomed having guests stay there for a short time, so my mother felt accepted.

I'm going here. They're very friendly. I liked the suite arrangement. The food was good. The people were friendly. It has two elevators. It was clean and I liked the location of it. They serve three meals a day. There's a van to various places, and there are different activities.

The rooms were very small. Food plans are part of their program, so the kitchens are very tiny. They don't have full-sized appliances. The staff was pleasant. I went to see bean bag baseball, and they talked about bowling in the halls. I got to see the little parakeets in the lobby, which I really liked. They had a luau and ice cream socials a couple of times. It's a step up from a nursing home. A lot of their residents are very old and living well. They had a very good variety of food and a pretty outdoor patio where they were having a big picnic and barbecue that they invited me to.

It was nice. It's a retirement center, not a home with different levels of care. The dining area was good. The staff was very nice and very accommodating.
