Three times a day, the community dining room is filled with the delicious smells of dishes such as shrimp bisque, roasted turkey breast or coconut custard pie. To take care of your health care needs, The Chevy Chase House has 24-hour professional nursing services on site. We also provide around-the-clock personal care as needed, whether it is medication management, bathing or monitoring vital signs. At Friendship Terrace you can affordably rent an apartment with a kitchen, floor-to-ceiling window, wall-to-wall carpeting and a walk-in closet in a place where you can live independently in a caring community. Our program offers 24-hour emergency call monitoring, a delicious daily meal, exciting activities and friends and, should finances become limited, opportunities for qualified residents to receive rent subsidies. And what a neighborhood you could live in! In addition to the activities we have at Friendship Terrace, within a few blocks you will find shopping, restaurants, churches, grocery stores, entertainment, the new library, the Wilson Pool and the Tenleytown Metro Station!
