Centrally located between Aiken, South Carolina and Augusta, Georgia, our community offers easy access to Highway 25 and Interstate 20 for quick family day trips to the Savannah River and Lake Thurmond.

Our vibrant community boasts several convenient amenities from an on-site beauty/barber salon, comfortable lounges for socializing, computer stations and an activity room for crafts and other personal projects. We have also designed our building for maximum mobility, with wide doors, hallways and rooms that can accommodate both wheelchairs and walkers.

Apartments are available in studio and one-bedroom floor plans and may be lived in privately or with a companion. Pets are also welcome. All of our homes feature wall-to-wall carpeting, individual heat and air conditioning, a kitchenette, generous closet space and an emergency call system in both bathrooms and bedrooms.

Available Services

To ensure that our residents receive the care they need when they need it, Hammond Place is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We even have a registered nurse on-site or on-call at all times for added peace of mind. Our caring staff are happy to provide personalized assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, walking and managing medications.

Staff also take care of trash removal, housekeeping, laundry, facility maintenance, activity planning, transportation and meals. We serve three meals each day in our restaurant-style dining room with snacks available throughout the day. Meals are prepared fresh in our kitchen in accordance with our dietitian-designed menu.
