We just visited Plum Creek Place yesterday. The facility was very nice, and the people were very friendly and accommodating. It looked like a place that would be a good option, but we're not quite ready for assisted living and that's all they had. The apartments that they showed us were small. Most of them were studios, which would only work for one person, and we needed something for two. They had a couple of 1-bedrooms, and they were also pretty small for us. They had a nice dining room and an area where people could gather to play games and stuff like that, and that was pretty nice. They also had an area where you could do your laundry or they could do your laundry for you, which was also very nice. The whole place was nice and clean. I haven't tasted any food and, because of COVID-19, they're just taking the meals to the rooms. We weren't there during mealtime, but the menu looked really nice and it had good choices and variety.

We visited Brookdale Medi Park West. They're very friendly, and the staff seemed very happy there. The people that live there were quite content, friendly and happy. We weren't able to really try the food, but they had good choices based on the menu. They actually had more choices than the other communities we have visited. The sizes of their apartments were very ample, and we saw their 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom. The whole place was immaculate. I saw their dining room. They had a beautiful library and a couple of places you can go to play games. They had a theater room where people could go in and watch movies together. They also had this informal cafe type of thing where people could get snacks and things to drink pretty much all day and that was very, very nice.

What we liked about Craig Retirement is that they have a little more square feet. They have a 2-bedroom with a living room. They have one meal a day, and if we want a second meal we can pay extra. They have a nice laundry just a little way down the hall, and we can take our clothes out and wash and dry them. They have a big old dining area. The only thing I dont like is that they're pretty expensive. The people I have worked with are OK, but the one I'm dealing with is a very nice lady. It's a very neat-looking place. They have a nice lake there, so it's very scenic. The place is well-run.

My tour went well. I saw a nice, two-bedroom apartment, but the place did not meet my needs. They showed me a kitchen where you could bake a cake if you wanted to. The place was clean, and the people were perfectly friendly.

Brookdale Medi Park West was very nice and very clean. I had friends that lived there and liked it. It's multi-story, which I don't want for my aunt. They had a good dining facility, good food, kitchenette, and laundry service.

We visited the Quail Creek. It seemed small, and one area they showed us was a community bathroom. I had concerns about that for my folks. The staff member answered our questions and showed us what was available, but we didn't feel like it would work for us.

The Cottages at Quail Creek is good. My mother is in assisted living and she has her own nice room. The have little activities, like art, they also do physical activities, they play games, listen to music, bowl, and so on. The food looks good, and she also likes it. The place itself is clean and the staff is nice.
