I moved my mother, Myrtis, into Premiere Choice on December 21, 2023 in order for her to have around the clock care. She is on Hospice care there, but she has done well at Premere Choice, and even improved since she arrived. Today Hospice thought she would be better off eating in bed because she has been weak for a few days and was not eating much. When my mother protested and wanted to go to the dinning room, Camile, the owner, and a nurse, complied with my mother’s wishes and took her to the dining room where she ate and did well. I really appreciate Camile taking the initiative to get my mother up - Myrtis is 102 years old, and yes it is difficult to move her. I also appreciate the food that is home-cooked for the residents. Mother seems to enjoy it and keeps commenting that it is good. There is always soup available for mother at the evening meal —which is best for her. Camile and Chino do what is best for the resident, not what is necessarily easier. The facility is beautiful, clean, and inviting —a personal home. Camile and Chino, I appreciate you both, as well as the night shift which I don’t get to see. Thanks, Linda Migura

I was very grateful for them caring for my mom. We found ourselves in need of care very quickly and this facility was super accommodating and kind.
Excellent care in a comfortable setting

The rooms are comfortably furnished, the staff is very professional, the owner, Camille, is a nurse and is very involved to ensure the resident is well cared for.

Atria Cinco Ranch was very inviting. They were very informative and very friendly. I just saw their one-bedroom, and it was very clean and spacious. They also had all sorts of activities planned on their huge calendar. They had a dining room, a fitness room, a garden, and a courtyard. The facility was well-maintained, and everybody was very nice. Based on when we walked through the building, the food was not really good. Their menu was very detailed. The person who toured us said that the food is made from scratch, and based on COVID, they are getting their food delivered on each floor. One floor would be eating in the dining, while all the other floors would be eating in their rooms through their room service, and they rotate each floor, each day.

Atria Cinco Ranch was very nice, and they called back to check on me. My husband and I used to live in Cinco Ranch, so that was one of the reasons I liked the area. It was close to the church I used to attend and that was a big plus, too. It's a very nice and clean place. I liked the fact that they had quite a few activities. I'm looking at the brochure and they had a featured event. There was a Casino Royale part, which they said was like Bingo travelling, they had Oktoberfest party going on, and they had a Christmas tree decorating coming up later on. It was nice, and I appreciate the fact that they were having get-togethers, activities, and things. They were very friendly and knew what they were talking about. They had a lady executive director, and she's sent a letter that was very sweet and very touching. They had a printed literature that was very informative and I felt like it helped out a lot because obviously I brought it home and kept it in my folder of places I've been able to visit, so that when I can go out again, I'll be able to remember the ones I was at. It's probably September or so since I've been there, and I was able to go in. I remember it was easy to navigate, and they were very good.

I went to Atria Cinco Ranch. They were able to show me a room, we walked through the buildings, it was well kept, there were people in the common areas. We could speak to them, they spoke to us, and could just ask them how well they liked the place, and they seemed to be fairly happy. The staff seemed to be pretty knowledgeable of what was going on, and what their role was.

I went to Landon Ridge Sugar Land Assisted Living and Memory Care. It was very nice, bigger than I would have liked, and felt too big for my brother. The rooms were nice, it was pricier, but they had studios and apartments. They had a beauty place to get a haircut and get your nails done, and they had crafts.

The Hampton at Meadows Place was very clean, almost stark clean, and wasn't as homey as the other place. I didn't like that some of the activities were on a different floor from where my sister-in-law would be living. They didn't have an option for carpeting. The staff was more clinical and not as friendly as in the other place. The dining place looked like a four-star restaurant, and it didn't have a homey feel. We liked that they had a screened-in porch area, but there was no walking area around, and the parking was like in a hotel. It just wasn't as welcoming.
