Mustang Creek Estates - Frisco TX

My aunt has been at Mustang Creek Estates for a little over a month. There are six different houses and each one is set up like a home. They only allow 15 people in each home and there are always two people on staff there -- one who works the front of the house and one works the back. One cooks and one takes care of bathing, laundry, and cleaning. Everybody's really friendly and there are activities going on from 9:30 in the morning and most evenings they have something that starts at 6:00 right after supper. The food is all good, homemade, and prepared right there. They've been really attentive and there's a doctor on staff who comes by once a week. They have a pharmacist that they work with so they get my aunt's prescription from there and that works very well. They have a central living area, kitchen, dining area, everybody takes their meals together, and my aunt has a best friend there and they go to activities together. The staff has just been super great. I haven't tried the food, but everything smells good and looks great. The facility is always very clean and well cared for. They have a maintenance guy on staff who is right there to fix things if anything happens. They have current events in the morning, exercises every day, games and outings. I also think it's reasonable.

Mustang Creek Estates seemed like a nice community. I like the concept. I was a little concerned about their staff to resident ratio, which is why I did not pick them. I felt their outside area was not as colorful or pleasant; it was kind of plain. They have activities, but I didn't really see a set schedule. The way they're set up was like a house. They had a living room, a kitchen that was closed off, and their own rooms. The staff was nice, but they were limited.
