My parents signed the papers for Brookdale Club Hill yesterday. I loved it. The rooms are not clean yet because they're not ready; we're going to have to wait a couple weeks before they're completely finished. It's well maintained. The staff was wonderful. They have a beauty shop, fitness activities, Bible studies, church, and a bus that takes them places.

Brookdale Club Hill is very clean and very modern. They have a little pond with ducks and some fish. The staff is nice and helpful. The apartment was clean when my father moved in. There were things that needed to be fixed, but they had it fixed by the next day. It's well kept. He's in their bridge club. He likes the food very much, but he also has a kitchenette in his apartment. They helped us get him a wheelchair, and there's a covered path. They went out of their way to help us out. It's a bigger community, which he likes because there are more people moving around and people to speak to. They have a lot of activities, they take them out to dinner, and they have music. The staff is excellent.

Brookdale Club Hill was a nice place, but I didn't think it would work for us. Nevertheless, I was treated very gracefully, and I enjoyed my tour. They did give me a pie, which was not that bad. The apartment looked really nice.

My parents in-law were at Brookdale Club Hill. They had independent and assisted living, but they didn't have memory care. Jon started to wander and he started taking his wife's medication by mistake, so we had to put him to a place where he would be watched a little better. They've got one and two-bedroom apartments, two-bedroom cottages, and studio apartments. We were very happy with them. It just didn't fit our needs. The activities were great. My in-laws were supposed to be on a cruise last week, and they took trips to the zoo and the arboretum. The activities director was very nice, very energetic and very good with the residents. The food was pretty good. They had a dining room for everyone and a menu with different options every day, and it was very well presented. They were very good to my in-laws, and they treated all their residents very well. The facility was very nice, very well kept, and maintained. They had an exercise room and a pool. The director was very nice, very personable, interacted a lot with the residents, and very easy to work with. They had a meeting once a week for the residents to give ideas about what they would like to see or don't like to see on the menu. They were reasonable price wise for what they offered.

I had a good tour at Brookdale Club Hill. The lady who accommodated me showed me an available unit. We spent about 30 minutes there, and I liked it. The next day I called and talked to somebody else. She told me girl was mistaken because the room was no longer available and somebody else was going to move in there in a couple of days. They had some others, but I wanted the little cottages because I have a dog and the cottages have an outside door towards the grass. They had a washer and dryer in the unit, and it was 1,150 square feet, which was the right size for me. It was a two-bedroom, two-bath with a kitchen and dining room; other places dont usually have a dining room. I was a little disappointed when I was told it's available when it's not. The facilities all seemed very clean and organized.

Brookdale Club Hill was lovely. It had lots of activities and wonderful dining facilities. The people were nice and happy. I saw both assisted and independent living. They had wonderful activities in the facility, outings, and transportation to go to places. My only complaint was it wasn't all on one floor. If there's a fire and mom has to get out, it would take her way too long to get down steps. That's my only problem with it, but the facilities were fabulous and the menus looked good.

I liked Brookdale Club Hill very much. The people were very nice. I liked what I saw. I liked the way it was laid out, the way they handled the meals, and also the way they had it set up as being independent but if I needed any help, it would be readily available. We talked about the activities and I was impressed with it. The food appeared and tasted good.

Brookdale Club Hill is a beautiful place. It's well-kept, well-staffed, everybody speaks well of it, and they were very cordial. I have no complaints against it except that my mom couldn't have lived with the air-conditioning unit in the room. It would have blown right on her and that wouldn't work for her. The proximity of the dining room to the room we were looking at was great though. They were doing crafts in the crafts room and Bingo when I was there.
