The Hampton at Meadows Place was very clean, almost stark clean, and wasn't as homey as the other place. I didn't like that some of the activities were on a different floor from where my sister-in-law would be living. They didn't have an option for carpeting. The staff was more clinical and not as friendly as in the other place. The dining place looked like a four-star restaurant, and it didn't have a homey feel. We liked that they had a screened-in porch area, but there was no walking area around, and the parking was like in a hotel. It just wasn't as welcoming.

I like the apartments at The Hampton at Meadows Place. The layout was very nice. They had big bay windows that looked out at the beautiful garden area. Their really nice garden area could be a place where you work out and do some walking. The staff who gave me the tour was very nice and was right to the point. She told me what they do and what they don't do. They don't have the residents just live out their lives there but enjoy their life. I was very touched with that. I didn't have a meal there but I saw their dining area, and it was really nice.
