Our community is designed to cater fully to those who have limited mobility and is friendly and homelike. Common areas are well designed and easy to navigate.

Residents at Brookdale Waxahachie enjoy private apartments in either one-bedroom or studio layouts, with every apartment featuring a private bathroom specially designed for the mobility impaired, kitchenette and emergency call system. Heating and air conditioning are individually controlled and all apartments have hookups for both phone and cable. Common areas include a library, barber shop and pleasant gardens. A comfortable sunroom and family room provide great environments for entertaining visitors.

The dining room has no assigned seating or fixed menu and trained waiters serve high-quality food restaurant-style. Our chefs will also cater to specific requests, including making a resident's own recipes. There is also a small private dining room available to reserve for parties and family dinners.

Available Services

All services provided to residents are personalized. Our staff can assist in mobility and personal care, cleaning of apartments, doing laundry and helping with medications. Yet, if assistance is not needed, independence can be assured.

Staff can also assist with other needs such as room service and even assistance with pet care can be arranged. Transportation is available for errands, doctor's appointments and other needs. We also offer a short-term stay program to allow loved ones and caregivers to take a break.
