We chose The Harrison Regent for our grandma, and it's great. She really likes it and she's doing well. The place is very clean, the meals are really good and the people are all very friendly. Overall, it just seems like a good atmosphere. They have all sorts of different activities. They get together and watch basketball games, they do crafts, and they have exercise class and so on. They provide three meals daily and also snacks. They do housekeeping service once a week, provide cable and internet, access to the library and a computer. The staff is very helpful and attentive. One of the things that impressed me was, that the lady who gave me the tour knew everybody by name and their individual situation. I have eaten a few meals there and I would definitely rate them a 5 on that. We went to other places, and this one seems to be reasonably priced.

The Harrison Regent is an older place, but very nice and beautifully kept. The rooms were lovely but they did not have kitchen facilities. So it would not be an ideal palce for someone who still likes to do a little cooking. The food is provided and the facilities are very nice and lovely. They have transportation, a lovely library, and entertainment that comes in occasionally. It's a good location with beautiful surroundings. They were very accommodating and they showed us everything.

I visited The Harrison Regent. I loved it, but it wasn't assisted living, so that didn't work for my brother-in-law. They allow home health to come in, but they don't provide assisted living. They have food and activities, but there's not a nurse on-duty or anything. The room was a little bit bigger like an apartment. They were very clean, and the place was very adequate. They had a nice dining room. Everything was good except for the program. He is on a Medicaid program, and they don't take Medicaid there. We did not eat when we went there, but they had a nice dining room. We met the chef. Everything was very clean and nice. We looked at the calendar of activities, and we were invited to come to a luau, but we did not go to that. It had an outdoor area in the back where you could go sit. The facility was nice and spacious in the lobby area. They had elevators, and they had patios going out the back of the apartment which was nice. Everybody was very helpful and very nice. They took time with us.

I had a very good experience with The Harrison. It was a lovely facility, and the atmosphere was nice. I was really impressed with it and liked it a lot. The apartments were adequate. The staff followed up with several phone calls, answered all my questions, and offered to have us come back and look some more. We had a really nice lunch there. My mother can’t afford it.

The staff at The Harrison Regent was really helpful, took their time, showed us around, and answered questions. It's a little older, and it could be updated a little bit. We liked the more independent living aspect of it. They had exercises and outdoor group activities, and they take them to stores. My mother said the food was good.

The people at The Harrison Regent were wonderful and the facility was really nice. What I didn't like were the tiny rooms. I couldn't afford a bigger room, and the studios were just way too little. The dining and activity areas were lovely. The staff was very lovely. They invited me, but I couldn't stay for lunch. The halls were so long and for people who don't feel good, it's a long ways to go, and I don't think I could make it to the dining room.

The Harrison Regent is the one I liked best. It was friendly, simple, small, they have a library, and they have about everything you would want. If you want to go to church they will take you. They take everyone shopping every so often. Its just nice and it has a view of the mountains. The rooms are very satisfactory, very clean, the whole place is clean, the food is good, and you can have your own computer there, which I liked.

I liked The Harrison Regent. The cleanliness was really good. The layout was nice, but they need something done about parking. It's kind of hard for older people to try to park without hitting cars. The dining room was really nice. You could eat there or you could bring stuff in. You could have a private sit-down meal or you could have a group meal with other people. I noticed that a lot of people gather together in groups.

The Harrison Regent is affordable but outdated and should be upgraded. The staff is friendly enough. The food is terrible, which my mother complains about.

My mother-in-law couldn't eat the food at The Harrison Regent. The menu and the food selection went downhill. I had talked to the manager about it because the quality of the food was really bad. The new manager was nice, but they don't really care about how the residents feel. All they care is about their money. Everything was premade. The chef and a lot of their management people left. The place was fine, but their annual increase in rent was absolutely out of control. She was happy with their activities. They had a bell choir, their senior citizens performed in other places, and she enjoyed the gym and the opportunity to work out.

The Harrison Regent was an independent living community. I didn't like the staff turnover. Within several months, there were new directors, a new activities person, and several key people left.
