Boasting scenic views of the Wasatch Mountains and a central location between Provo and Salt Lake City just off I-15, Lake Ridge Senior Living is a welcoming senior community offering both independent retirement living as well as assisted living amenities and services.
Lake Ridge Senior Living is operated by the Ensign Group. At our communities we provide seniors a broad spectrum of services, from skilled nursing to assisted living services and rehabilitative services.
Featured Amenities
We offer deluxe accommodations in a selection of studio and one-bedroom floor plans. All of our apartments come with plush carpeting, walk-in closets, individually-controlled heat and air conditioning and private bathrooms. Many apartments also come with private balconies or patios and kitchens or kitchenettes.
In addition to the many exciting attractions and amenities in and around Orem, our community offers a number of engaging community areas and activities for residents to enjoy. From checking email in our computer center to breaking a sweat in our fitness room to getting a cut and curl in our on-site beauty salon, there is never a dull moment at Lake Ridge Senior Living.
Available Services
The health and well-being of our residents is our top priority, which is why schedule regular wellness checks from local physicians that cover foot care, vision screenings, and hearing and blood pressure checks. Physical and massage therapy services can also be arranged for an additional fee.
For added convenience, we take care of all apartment maintenance, provide weekly housekeeping services, change the linens and do the laundry. Residents in our assisted living program receive care from staff who are on site 24 hours a day to provide assistance with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing and taking medications.

Lake Ridge Senior Living was nice, but it was just a normal little place. They don't have a whole lot of activities, but it seemed decent overall. The staff was pretty good. It was just an average facility.

We've had a few issues, but for the most part Lake Ridge is pretty good. My father has had some medical problems. His medication got scrambled so that was a problem, but now the nurse does respond and gets things straightened out when there's a problem, so that's good. It's a small community, not very big, so there's not a lot by way of amenities, but his room is really nice. He has his own bathroom and it's comfortable. The people are friendly and they do take the residents to do different things, which he really likes. The director and the nurse would be a five-star rating. Their general CNAs and their assistance is a two. My dad likes the food.

My husband was at Lake Ridge. I was a little disappointed with their level of care. I just didn't feel like they took as good a care of him, and I asked them several times to take care of him, but they didn't. Finally, after four days, they called me and asked me to come and get him because they couldn't care for him. The facility is very nice, but I don't think they have enough staff to cover all the people. They have a lot of people there with only two staff members for about 30 people; that's just not enough. They seem to take care of the place pretty well. When I had to move my husband, they were reluctant to give me my money back. Eventually, they refunded me, but instead of just charging me for five days, they charged me for ten. They overcharged me.

"Lot of residents," about 30. This is wrong
"2 staff members". There is not a single hour of any day or night where we are not staffed with a minimum of 3 caregivers.
Refund was given without reluctance but it was mailed from our corporate office, she wanted one immediately. The refunded Amount was far more generous than we were contractually obligated to pay her back.

Lake Ridge seemed old and rundown. The person I talked to was very nice, but the residence didn't impress me. I decided I didn't want to live there. They had plenty of activities scheduled like bingo and all kinds of trips. The food was good.
