Morningside of Bellgrade was really nice, but my brother would have to rent furniture. They have a really nice patio where they have cookouts; we were invited to their luau on Labor Day. They had a chef who invited us to eat. They had wonderful food, happy hour, and activities. They're also going to extend their lovely patio at the back, so I'm expressed for that. It was in a nice area, the place looked nice, clean, and cheery, and the rooms were adequate and a good size. The lady who helped me was lovely, and for anyone who can afford it, it would be wonderful.

The Crossings at Ironbridge seemed very nice. The dining area was clean, good, and had no odors. The people looked comfortable and happy. They also have a rehab room and a nice garden.

So far, The Crossings at Ironbridge has been really nice. They are helpful and nice. My husband is in the memory care unit and they're doing a really good job. My husband's room has a bed, TV, dresser, and a chest of drawers, and it's clean. The food is excellent and the dining room is very nice. The cooks and the people are very helpful and just right there when you need them. The facility is very nice and clean, and my husband gets his money's worth. I don't have any problems so far and everything's been great.

I chose Commonwealth because it had a nice open look to it. Also, they were the only ones who chose to put my dad in regular living instead of memory care. The first day my dad was there, almost everybody in the building came to his room and introduced themselves. It was so nice. My dad had an assistant for four hours a day to show him where he should go to eat, where he could get a snack, and lots of other things to help acclimate him. He did this for four or five days; it was really a blessing. My dad seems to be doing very well. He seems to be happy. They have a lot of small trips that are a couple of hours long, and they go places like Wal-Mart. One of the things that is also very nice there is that my dad has a small account, so if he goes somewhere or gets his hair cut, they take the money out of that. I'm very pleased with it. From what I've seen, the food is excellent and all farm-fresh. Everything comes from a farm I think that's fabulous.

Morningside of Belgrade has suffered so bad. They've been through 4 executive directors in 2 years. The dining staff hires a lot of impolite staff members. The service sucks as I have been in there taking care of my friend who stays at Morningside. The place smells terrible and I am very happy to hear that the food service director has put in his notice. The lack of food truck orders they get is terrible. There always out of food! Management is terrible and will treat the residents terrible once they begin there stay. I would never recommend this place to anyone!

My aunt is living in Commonwealth Senior Living at Chesterfield. It is an excellent facility with an excellent staff and administration. They always keep them active with something to do and the food is good, so I don't have any complaints. They take them shopping and to restaurants. They have a caring administration. The administrator is outstanding and cares, so that means a lot when you're putting a loved one in the care of somebody else.

Morningside of Bellgrade was pretty disappointing. I didn't like it at all. It smelled bad. The facilities were in disrepair. It just felt like an institutional nursing home. The staff member who assisted me was very pleasant, but very apologetic for the state of repair. I didn't want to stay that long. The activities were being done primarily by the caretakers, not the clients themselves. There was a big physical therapy area and it looked more like a rehab facility than an assisted living community. It was pretty awful. There was no uniformity for the caregivers who work with the individual clients. This is what an institution would've looked like years ago. People weren't engaged. It smelled bad the minute you walked in.

My father is in Morningside of Bellgrade. It's fine and dandy and clean. His room is well maintained. He seems to be doing great there. They have activities and told me they took him out on a bus ride to the city. They have a TV room, an activities room, and a family room. Everything looks great. He thinks it's good food, and it looks fine to me. Everybody's been wonderful and answered all my questions. They're taking good care of him. He's only been there a couple of weeks.
