My mother was at Hanover Health & Rehabilitation Center strictly for rehab. They appeared to be very short staffed. The therapists were pretty good, but the daily care could stand some improvement. It looked very institutional. They had a problem with communication because we couldn't get straight stories. They would tell us one thing and somebody else would tell us something else. The communication with the administration was not the best. They brought some meals to her room and they were really cold. The physical therapy and physical therapy assistants did a good job.

Heritage Green of Hanover was a very nice place. It was undergoing renovation when I was there. I didn't see anything I dont want. The place was new, but they didn't give me a thorough tour like I got from other facilities. It was very nice on the outside. It was much smaller, so it didn't have as many places available to the residents.

The Crossings at Hanover was awesome. My visit was wonderful. They showed us a room for my husband independently and they also showed us where he and I move together as well as memory. We were there three or four hours. They showed us their menus and everything. We were interviewed and they were really nice. The people that lived there looked happy. They serve three meals a day. We were invited to eat there and it was really good and fancy. We saw the residents eating when we took the tour and the food looked delicious and fresh, with fresh fruits and fresh vegetables. They even have a place there where the residents grow some of their own vegetables. It's just like home except for the nurse's stations.

Heritage Green of Hanover was very nice until they wanted a $2,000 non-refundable deposit. Even though my husband died two days before he was to move in, it didn't matter because it was non-refundable. I spoke to the director there and the best she could do was apologize. However, the location was perfect for me and the grounds were very nice. The place was clean and well-maintained. Still, my experience with them was not good when they wouldn't give me my money back.

My uncle and aunt are at Heritage Green. The community is wonderful to work with, especially the director who has been very supportive and helpful. It's assisted living, and they could be moved to memory care. The dining area is very nice with menus and everything set up in several dining areas. They have different folks come in and play music. They have a library and excursions where they take them out to stores and places.

The Crossings at Hanover would have been by first choice, but it was three floors, and the rooms available were on the third and second floors near the elevator. My aunt felt it was too big and didn't want to have to take the elevator. The facility was only 10 months old, and they were building another one. The director who took us around was nice. They had a medical station on each floor, and it had a lot of good amenities. The dining area was very nice, and the chef used a lot of local produce in their menu.
