I went and I was very impressed with the facility. I felt very comfortable because it was bright, cheery, and everybody was happy. I was well received by the receptionist while I was waiting for the lady who gave me the appointment. While I was waiting for her, everybody was very pleasant, very accommodating, and nice. The main thing that I liked about them was that I spoke with a lady sitting on the bench outside the front door and we just exchanged a few words, but she was happy, comfortable, and very pleasant. When I entered the building, there were other people sitting in the front hallway. It was a gathering place and they had good exchanges with each other. Everybody was very pleasant, comfortable, and I was just very pleased. The woman that I had the appointment with took me around, and she explained everything to me completely. I had a chance to ask questions and then she took me on a tour of the entire building. The building was extremely clean, well-organized, and everybody was purposefully moving about. I was very impressed and I hope that my brother decides to go there. The apartments were accommodating. I saw a studio and it was accommodating. The gentleman who was a resident allowed us to take a look at his place and there was plenty of closet space. He had a twin bed, and he was happy there. Another room was a 1-bedroom and it was accommodating. There was plenty of space for a queen bed and two pieces of furniture. There was a little kitchenette, a lovely bathroom, and a sitting area, which was small, but accommodating and adequate. My brother would've been pleased with the 1-bedroom. They offered to prepare something for me to eat. I was interested in the Mediterranean diet for my brother and they offered to make a smoothie for me. However, the place is very expensive.

We're happy with their care and the surroundings. It's a very nice facility. The staff is very nice and very pleasant. Mom enjoys all of them. They're very nice to her and take good care of her. Her apartment is clean and well kept. When I come in, the trash is gone and it's been swept up. It's in good shape. I have seen some of the meals that she has had and they looked very appetizing. She said they taste good. I've seen her do music therapy exercises and sing-along. She's also doing physical therapy right now. She had her hair done there one time, and they painted her nails. They provide entertainment to keep the residents engaged.
