At Brookdale Onalaska (formerly Sterling House of Onalaska), we pride ourselves on our providing an outstanding assisted living experience to Wisconsin seniors though our unique, personalized care plans. Our private apartments give residents the privacy and independence they want, while still being in a structured community with caring staff to tend to their needs. Our buildings are designed to accommodate the mobility-impaired, so everyone can experience the full range of amenities we offer.

Our community is designed to offer a welcoming, comfortable experience to residents. The family room has a cozy fireplace and is a great place to entertain guests. Our dining room has friendly wait staff and features a private dining area for special occasions. We even have a beauty and barber shop on-site for our residents who want to look their best.

Outside, we have plenty of options for the individual who enjoys nature. Our outdoor courtyard offers a pleasant place to get fresh air and enjoy the sun. We also have gardening areas where residents are free to tend to their favorite plants.

Available Services

At Brookdale Onalaska, we have skilled staff members available around the clock to provide a helping hand as needed, as well as licensed nurses on-call to monitor the health of our residents and provide medication support. We also offer laundry and housekeeping services, ambulation support and continence management.

Our kitchens provide three meals a day, as well as snacks. We can arrange for transportation to and from doctor's appointments, shopping trips and other pre-arranged outings.
