I visited this facility

I visited both assisted and independent living sides of Mission Commons. It was very nice and very clean. It's a good location and had all the amenities needed. The hospital was right up the street and there were a lot of good things around the location. The staff was always professional. It was very impressive. The assisted living staff members were very attentive. It's an absolutely beautiful facility. The apartments and the dining room were a 5.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My father moved into Braswell’s Chateau Villa. His room is totally fine, it’s not really spacious, but it’s clean. They have a lot of different activities, and the staff is great. They have a theater room, a rec room, dining room, and a lot of different rooms.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother-in-law has moved into Mission Commons. It is perfect. My mother-in-law goes out on daytrips, so she socializes a lot. It is good for her. They offer three meals a day and a snack. The staff is very good, watch everything, and make sure that the residents are cared for. My mother-in-law said the place is very clean. The staff members are friendly, informative, and caring.

I visited this facility

Mission Commons was a little older but felt homey. I liked it and thought it was a nice place. They had a few units that had a stove and a kitchen. They offered different activities for different groups depending on their interests. They had shuttle vans to take residents to the market or to social activities.

I visited this facility

We toured Mission Commons. The lawn turned us off, and my husband was not comfortable with the dining setting. However, the lunch was very good. The staff member was very nice and very informative.

This place is in the Redlands Country Club area. Although it is an exclusive area prices are very reasonable. Staff makes residents feel like they are famil.

I am/was a resident of this facility

Brookside Healthcare Center is mediocre at best, and I'm only here because of the VA. My room hasn't been cleaned thoroughly for I don't know how long, there are chips on the wall, and there are three of us crowded in here, so it's not good. Most of the time the food sucks and every once in a while you get a good meal, but it's never enough to fill a grown man up. I've had better therapy, but it's OK. There are some good staff members, but they're few and far between. Sometimes I want to get a cup of coffee but they're having a management meeting in the cafeteria. When this happens there's no place for us to get coffee so we're stuck until they decide to finish what they're doing. It's not well-planned or well-organized. If it were up to me I would not pay for this place out of pocket.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

Between my mom being covered with a HORRIFIC rash on her entire trunk of her body and a bed sore, visions I cannot remove from my mind, to getting her to the ER to find her body temp at 86, yes 86....She had sepsis and was in congestive heart failure and died less than 36 hours later. The staff was so surprised she passed, yet when I asked about the rash, bed sore, body temp and their total lack of knowing she was failing, they had no answer. I hope the pictures taken by Kaiser social services get attention by someone who cares. Funny that they had no answers just a deer in the headlight expression, but boy howdy, they were able to tell us we would be charged for each day until we had her room empty..... That explains their priority in a nutshell

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My brother is at Brookside Healthcare Center. I like it. Everything is very nice and clean. My brother is not happy with any of it because he wants to come home. His room is small, and there are three beds to a room. I feel that it is crowded for him. He is used to something that has a little more space, but for his needs right now until he gets better, his room is OK. They have all the activities, but he is a dialysis patient so he is at the VA for dialysis three days a week. He doesn't want to go out, get active, and be part of that community. They have a physical fitness room. My brother is a diabetic so they have him on a strict diet and serve him very little food. He is always complaining that they don't give him enough to get full.
