Our family looked at this facility as an option to have my mother continue her rehab under proper care and supervision. Meagan was very helpful in the process. The facility had just been redeveloped from a former nursing home, and was very pleasant. My mother has raved about the food and enjoys the activities. The staff made the transition as easy as possible.

I toured Arbor Terrace Mountainside and was so impressed with the community itself and the large amount of activities offered for the residents. There really is something for everyone! I also loved that they’re right next to echo lake park, as my dad is very active and will enjoy walking there each day. The staff that greeted me on my tour seemed genuinely happy to be at work and I think that says a lot for how the residents are probably treated. I’m looking forward to joining the “Arbor Family.”

South Mountain Healthcare And Rehabilitation in Vauxhall, New Jersey DOES NOT answer the patients\' phone calls to the nursing station(s) and does not communicate well with patients to arrange, confirm and track doctor visits for patients. Staff and nurses do not know the patients\' doctors names, phone numbers and visit times and fail to arrange their visits with critical and non-critical care patients. The food is always cold. Please someone from the state and executive levels address these issues immediately. It seems the concern of South Mountain is to keep rooms and beds filled and not to help patients recover within a short or reasonable time frame.--Thank you for your help,
Jennifer

I saw both assisted living and memory care at Atria Cranford. It was nice. Everything was pretty much set up nicely, as far as where the residents were able to go and the activities. They had a huge schedule board, and they rotate month by month. Each day has a list of activities, so the residents have options, and they can choose what they want to do. Family members can video call their loved ones. It's like a FaceTime chat with your loved ones, which is pretty convenient. I only dealt with the young lady with whom I had the meeting. When we came inside the door, we had to get a rapid test done, but I didn't really come in contact with too many of the workers there. They had plenty of options to keep the residents busy and active. For those who will be placed in memory care, it's a little bit more hands on, which is good. I didn't get to meet too many people. I like the structure of the building. It felt somewhat homey, which could be very soothing for the residents. They even had a pretty cool fireplace in the common area with a big-old piano. The outdoor sitting area was very nice. When the weather gets much better, it would be fun for them.

I visited, it's beautiful, and like a resort. The rooms were absolutely lovely. The staff was very helpful, very courteous, and very professional. The dining area was lovely, and they had many activities, including baking pies. They had a full range of activities that were varied and plentiful.

White Oak Of Waxhaw is located at the end of a long driveway. It's extremely peaceful and right now, all the cherry blossom trees are blooming, and they have rocking chairs outside for you to sit. It's very safe. The nursing care that my husband is receiving there is excellent, and it was excellent the last time we were there. They have a wound care nurse that comes, and the physician comes every other day, and the NP comes on the days that the physician is not there, so my husband is seeing a medical person in addition to having his dressing changed every day. They help him with his showers. The food is delicious, and they seem to have enough choices. When we ring the bell, they're very prompt, and I'm not sure how they manage that. My husband is also doing PT and OT, so they've been very good with him. I see improvements every day since he's been there. He's getting stronger and putting a little bit of weight back on, and I'm thrilled. My husband's room is private, but they also have shared rooms. The place is set up like a pod with four long hallways, and each hallway is called a neighborhood, and a nursing station for each one of those, and on that long pod, there are either single rooms or doubles.

My mother is in rehab at Westfield Center. It's a Genesis property. I haven't had any problems there so far. Everybody has been very nice and that includes the gals that do the exercise and breathing. Everything has been very good so far. She's doing basic physical therapy. She gets her meals in her room, but the dining area seems to be fine. It appears more hospital-like because it's a rehab center, not a community.

Lake Park Nursing Center looked clean and nice. The people were kind. Overall, it was good. They were playing games like Bingo, board games, walking the hall, and getting exercise. The person who gave me the tour was nice.

My father was at Brookdale Union Park in Monroe, NC he hasn't been there long about maybe 1 to 2 months My father had fallen in the dining room and noonehas call moor any other family members. When we found out a coupled days has past and I have gone to see him, found out he had a bruise onhis left hip, I call the EMS to pick my father from there and taken him to near hospital and to find out he had broken hip. Thisplace doesn't have executive director in place and the management team isn't helpful with the med.tech girls, they're always running this place along. So please if you have a love one don't place your family into this Brookdale they only care about your money and your love one just become a number.
