I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother is in Weatherly Inn. The care is very good. The staff is very friendly and very caring of the residents, at least all of the interactions I've had. Her room is good-sized. It's hard because she came from a quite bigger home, so it's been an adjustment for her, but I think that the layout is good. It was in good quality when she moved in, and it's very clean. There are times when she really enjoyed the food, other times she doesn't like it as much, but she appreciates the effort that they put into it. They have some groups playing games and they just started up with their drives weekly. She hasn't been able to take advantage of that yet, but primarily it's just daily activities that they have for the residents. They have a workout room.

They were wonderful at Prestige Senior Living Arbor Place. It was clean, I felt welcomed, and they were anxious to help. The one-bedroom was nice enough and in good condition. The lady I know who lives there seems to like it. The staff member was very helpful, very friendly, answered my questions, and introduced me to other people who could answer my questions. I was very impressed with the place.

Brookdale Medford was a very nice place, but when we got up to the second floor, the odor was enough for me to not want my loved one in there. The facilities and rooms looked fine; they're alright. The staff member who was with me during the visit was very nice. I would not have wanted to be there myself because of the smell.

Weatherly Inn is first class. The food service was excellent and probably one of the best. The rooms were pretty much standard and there was nothing outstanding about them, but they were clean, well-done, and well-appointed. They had transportation available. Their exercise room was well-equipped which was impressive. The dining facility was really nice.

It didn't take long for At Home Senior Solutions to get us a caregiver. The caregiver helps with various duties like changing the beds, dumping the toilet, and doing some vacuuming and clean. They also help fix breakfast and a little lunch. Sometimes they even make dinner ahead of time so we can re-heat it at night. Sometimes they drive the car to take my loved one to her doctor's appointment. They come four to five times, but sometimes we take three days off. So far they've sent out five or six different ladies. They were trying to find good matches for us, and we've narrowed it down to three to four that we like, and they're the ones that show up every time now.

The people at Brookdale Medford were very friendly, very helpful, and constantly calling to check up to see if there was anything that they could do for my mom. There's something that they can do every week, they take people to the casino and the movies, and they have a small library. The staff was great. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I have been living here for a very long time. I liked the apartment and it's set up pretty much like a regular home and has plenty of space. We have a guy who comes in and gives lectures, and we have a variety of performers with different instruments, mostly the piano, and we have games that we can play among the residents. We all have our personal tastes and some of the food I like, and some I don't. They have a regular menu and if I don't like it, I just order something else that I want. The dining room is small since it's not a large facility. It's equivalent to one wing of a large facility, and there are maybe 40 apartments. The building is old, but functional. I'm satisfied here and my wife was very content as long as she lived. We'd recommend it.

Prestige looked nice, and the staff seemed nice. However, it looked cheaper and rundown and was not as nice as the other places we visited.

Brookdale Medford was a very nice community. The staff member was very nice, knowledgeable, and wanted to get us in. The dining area looked nice. They had an activity room, a small courtyard, and different things that people could do at different times, but we weren't really interested in that. We were mostly interested in the care for our dad. We were looking at therapy, and they didn't meet our needs. However, they're very nice people.
