I toured Essex House and I loved the place. Everyone was very friendly, and the person who showed us around was very nice and helpful. I had lunch with the people that lived there. It was quite enjoyable, and I learned a lot from them. The facilities they have were very nice; I'd give everything an A+. They have a TV room, a billiards room, they have a snacks at all times, and there's an elevator. I have to say that was well-equipped, well maintained, and everyone was wonderful.

My mother moved into Essex House, and they're wonderful. The food was excellent, and she had no complaints. Everybody is wonderful, they play Bingo, they havr entertainment come in, they have painting, parties, and they do art work of different types. They take them on trips, they go shopping, have lunch at various restaurants, and plays.

I absolutely loved Essex House, it was great. Everyone was so kind and there's evidently a new manager who is back in there from before. This gentleman came out and he actually sat down with us and he had lunch. His wife came in too and it was really nice. It's more like a family type atmosphere. It was fantastic. The rooms that I saw were very nicely appointed, but it's a lot more than I thought it would be. They have fresh fruits and vegetables available. They have an elevator which we definitely had to use because a friend of mine was with me and she doesn't do steps. It was a wonderful place to visit. The food was fantastic and they had very nice views. Right beside the facility is my family doctor and shopping is extremely close. You can walk out the front door and down to the mall if you want. The Rite Aid is right there and CVS is literally within walking distance. It was very good. The staff was extremely polite and nice. If you needed something, they were right there. There was someone always coming around to refill your coffee or tea or whatever you were drinking. There was also a dessert bar that they brought around. I just couldn't believe how nice everyone was over there. They have a lot of activities. They have cooking, painting, they have a pool table (which is really nice), and they have a computer room, but there's only one computer in there. They probably should have a few more computers. I don't know about the outdoor activities, but they're available too.

I was very impressed with Essex House. The one person who was giving us the tour was very knowledgeable and friendly. They showed us many different rooms, and although the rooms were small, they were perfectly sized for one person and had a nice view. They had bingo and cards, and invited us for lunch; the food was excellent and came in smaller portions, plus salads, dessert, and others.

The staff at Essex House gives great care. The food is great. The whole place is wonderful. The rooms were OK, but I could not afford anything more than a studio room. They have a library, a music room, and games to keep the residents busy. A friend lives there, so I saw his room, and he has a lot of space.

I have gone to Essex House, but that is more of a retirement community rather than assisted, and my mother needed assisted. I could have moved in myself since it was so beautiful, very well cared for, and taken care of. The staff was very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The dining room was very nice.

We loved Essex House. I like their live-in care managers. They have a wonderful facility that I would highly recommend to others. They have good food, good staff, and friendly personnel. They were very knowledgeable and took us on a tour. We talked to some of the residents there who seemed happy. They have different room sizes and it was very clean.

The management of Essex House is very friendly, capable, and they are easy to work with. My dad has been working with them very easily and he doesn't hear very well at all. The food is excellent. They offer three meals a day. They have a lot of activities there. They invite him to numerous things like Christmas dinner, but he doesn't ever go. He has a 1-bedroom apartment with a living room and a kitchenette, and it has a patio door that goes outside. It has been very good.
