My parents signed the papers for Brookdale Club Hill yesterday. I loved it. The rooms are not clean yet because they're not ready; we're going to have to wait a couple weeks before they're completely finished. It's well maintained. The staff was wonderful. They have a beauty shop, fitness activities, Bible studies, church, and a bus that takes them places.

Don\'t send your loved ones here; the place is run like a prison and I\'m sure it\'s not any different based on the care that my father-in-law received. I understand that during these times, healthcare facilities are understaffed and have a lot on their hands but there\'s a fine line between that and neglecting your responsibilities. My daughter recorded her experiences at this place and it is just cruel to let these people stay here. Once you\'re in this place, you\'ll have to jump through loops to get them out. We couldn\'t even get ahold of how my father-in-law was doing until he was dying. The nurse\'s station will often have no one attending it. If you\'re lucky enough to find one, you\'ll be ignored because they\'re too busy talking/arguing with each other. If they don\'t ignore you, they\'ll tell you to go back to the room you came from and wait for them to come to you (as if we didn\'t already do that and only came to look for them BECAUSE no one came by.) And this was treatment towards a VISITOR. There were other patient rooms with their call lights on for who knows how long. I can only imagine how little care they give to their residents. Based on the other (accurate and realistic) reviews of this place, I\'m sure the person in charge of their online material will reply to this. I have evidence of this neglect along with footage of the nurses arguing for over 5 minutes and then abandoning their post. The pictures included here is just one of the many rooms that the residents stay in. My family is desperately trying to get a loved one out of here, please do not allow these people to care for your family. We\'ve made a terrible mistake and hope that no one else will do so here.

Brookdale Club Hill was lovely. It had lots of activities and wonderful dining facilities. The people were nice and happy. I saw both assisted and independent living. They had wonderful activities in the facility, outings, and transportation to go to places. My only complaint was it wasn't all on one floor. If there's a fire and mom has to get out, it would take her way too long to get down steps. That's my only problem with it, but the facilities were fabulous and the menus looked good.

Silver Creek didn't have any independent living, but it was very good for an assisted living. It was very personable and it was smaller scale, so everybody knew each other. The staff knew everybody. The facility was well maintained, and they had a very nice meal situation. The rooms were small and boxy, but it was excellent. It was a smaller place, so it had a little more of a family feel to it. Even though it's assisted living, you can have the same homey look. The caring was wonderful and I liked it there. They had cookie baking nights, fun things, weekly outings, and transportation.

Brookdale Club Hill is very clean and very modern. They have a little pond with ducks and some fish. The staff is nice and helpful. The apartment was clean when my father moved in. There were things that needed to be fixed, but they had it fixed by the next day. It's well kept. He's in their bridge club. He likes the food very much, but he also has a kitchenette in his apartment. They helped us get him a wheelchair, and there's a covered path. They went out of their way to help us out. It's a bigger community, which he likes because there are more people moving around and people to speak to. They have a lot of activities, they take them out to dinner, and they have music. The staff is excellent.

Brookdale Club Hill was a nice place, but I didn't think it would work for us. Nevertheless, I was treated very gracefully, and I enjoyed my tour. They did give me a pie, which was not that bad. The apartment looked really nice.

My parents in-law were at Brookdale Club Hill. They had independent and assisted living, but they didn't have memory care. Jon started to wander and he started taking his wife's medication by mistake, so we had to put him to a place where he would be watched a little better. They've got one and two-bedroom apartments, two-bedroom cottages, and studio apartments. We were very happy with them. It just didn't fit our needs. The activities were great. My in-laws were supposed to be on a cruise last week, and they took trips to the zoo and the arboretum. The activities director was very nice, very energetic and very good with the residents. The food was pretty good. They had a dining room for everyone and a menu with different options every day, and it was very well presented. They were very good to my in-laws, and they treated all their residents very well. The facility was very nice, very well kept, and maintained. They had an exercise room and a pool. The director was very nice, very personable, interacted a lot with the residents, and very easy to work with. They had a meeting once a week for the residents to give ideas about what they would like to see or don't like to see on the menu. They were reasonable price wise for what they offered.

My father-in-law is staying at Montclair Estates. So far it's pretty good. The place is nice, secure, clean and in good condition. My father-in-law is pretty happy and all the residents are friendly. The cafeteria is pretty clean. We have no complaints at all. The staff is really friendly and knowledgeable. If we have any questions, they're always there to help, so we're happy. They play cards, parties where people can dance, and groups to play music. They take them to grocery stores once a week on a bus. The food is good and my father-in-law likes it even when he's pretty picky. The price is pretty reasonable and good.
