I was very impressed with Sunrise of Arlington, VA, but it just won't work out because everything was a la carte and add-ons. You didn't have the option to use their furniture, so I would have to bring in my mom's furniture, and that just seems like a hassle. The staff seemed very nice. The location was very nice, pristine, and clean, and everything seemed upbeat with the people on staff, which is a big plus. The staff who took me on the tour was very accommodating, thorough, and very helpful with answering all my questions. Compared to other places, when the funds run out, it seems like they'd be out on the street in a tent because they wouldn't help with provisions to help someone get relocated or go on Medicaid, and that was really the thing that sent me over the top. If you run out of private funds, you have to get out on your own. The room was extremely small.

It was farther along the line in terms of being an assisted living facility. There were a couple of hundred units and they did not have full kitchens in them. Everybody comes to meals in the general space. It was absolutely lovely. The staff was incredibly helpful. We were given homemade peanut butter fudge before we left and that was delicious. We walked by the dining room and the activities were described to us, but we didn't really see much. It was fantastic and if you're in a situation where you really require assisted living and need that level of support, it was very lovely. We saw people having lunch and it looked delicious.

It was a nice place. I was a little concerned about my relative being in a high-rise. They had parking issues. The staff seemed to be very nice. I saw their physical therapy area and art studio. They also had other very nice amenities.

It was a very nice community, but they didn't have any Medicaid beds at that time. It was very beautiful, clean, and I loved the layout. They have a library, a café, and a barbershop, which is nice. They also have a postal service and a chapel, which are very cute. The courtyard and the garden are very nice. They have karaoke night, books to read, cards, and outings from time to time. They provide housekeeping, physical therapy, and three meals. The people are friendly. The staff is on top of everything.

It was very nice, but it's in a very crowded area. The facility was very nice. Everything was set up very nice and they had a nice little outdoor area, but the whole area is like in the middle of Arlington. It's a very congested, very built-up area, and we prefer it to be in som- place a little further away, more country-like, more trees and things. Everything else about the facility was nice, the food was good, everything was good. The layout of the room wasn't that bad either or the apartment. I didn't like the parking available for the cars. Other than that, there was nothing wrong with the place. The whole place was very pleasant. The people were nice, and they were very helpful in showing us things. I just didn't like the neighborhood. The area was too congested, but they had some very nice open areas. Considering they're in such a congested area, they had a lovely outdoor garden area. Everybody was perfectly pleasant. We had lunch there and it was very nice, it was served nicely and they were all very pleasant and helpful to us.
