We moved my mother from another facility to Discovery Village a year ago and we’re very pleased with the care my mother received in memory care. The care and compassion she received from the staff was wonderful and it was evident they really care about their residents. We definitely recommend Discovery and even recently moved my in-laws into their assisted living.

We visited, and the lady, Carrie Anne, was fantastic. The safety precautions were there and in place, and the residence was immaculate. I toured the whole facility and was given several options. Of course, the cost came into play. They had a lot of activities for them.

The Waterford at Thousand Oaks is very affordable, nice, and clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I saw both a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom, and I would definitely give both of them five stars. They were a nice size compared to everything I've seen. I saw activities going on, and they had a lot of options for interested people. I saw the dining room, the workout room, the library, and the craft room.

My sister is moving here. The staff is very helpful and very involved. The rooms are very spacious compared to some of the other ones I've seen. They don't have an exercise room, so that was one negative, but they hold exercise classes, so that wasn't a deciding factor for us. There are plenty of activities, and they have courtyards and a pool.

I went to Madison Estates. It was nice, but the residents were of an older generation than the other place I went to. They're very friendly and helpful. The staff is great. It was a fairly good size and first class. I think they did have some transportation, and they did have meals. It felt homey.

The Waterford on Huebner was a very, very nice facility. I think my friends said that it's a smaller facility, more of a close knit group, so it was more closely monitored. If someone did not show up for lunch they were gonna check on them. It was just the rooms were very small. They didn't offer the kitchenette that my client was wanting for her mother, but the people were nice, and the whole area was just gorgeous, beautiful, and very clean. I only saw the great room where everyone was hanging out for games and so forth. They offered us snacks and water, so it was nice.

Adante Independent Living was very nice. The apartments were excellent and it's very elegant. The staff during the visit was amazing. I didn't eat the food, but the dining area looked like a hotel. There's a whole list of activities; you can find them on the web. They had a movie theater, a swimming pool, a pool for billiards, video games, a library, a hair salon, an arts studio, exercise classes, there's always bingo and bingo parlor, and cards. They had everything you could imagine. It's very exclusive.

I really liked Madison Estates. I liked that it was independent living and that's something that my friend is looking for. I like the apartment setup. I like the fact that she has the ability to come and go, and that gives her a sense that she is independent still. They had 2-bedroom apartments, which she doesn't need, but it was very interesting that they offered that. The staff was very nice. When I visited the property, I found out that I had a friend that's elderly too that lived there. They had the little patio area, some bigger than others. They had the facility setup for safety reasons because of Covid. It's a little different now, but they still have limited activities. They have a choice whether they can go and be a part of the activities or not. I really enjoyed the tour. They explained everything to me.

We went to The Waterford at Thousand Oaks. it was conveniently located, the apartment that we were shown was a two-bedroom, it was very nice, they said that they had just put new flooring in, and it was on the main floor, which I think my friends were wanting to have. I did not feel like we really got a very adequate tour. We were not shown any other apartments, the gal that did the tour said, "These are the amenities, would you like to go see them?" not, "Here, let me show you what we have to offer." I thought it was pretty incomplete.
